Barking Dog Darryl Brown

Darryl Brown, Barking Dog is a three-time award winning painter, one from the National Congress of American Indians. His visual work is described as Atavistic Surrealism – Atomistic – Circumpunct-Primitive Modern – Pointillism/Juxtaposition with the Alchemy of Art & Meditation with Emotional and Spiritual Color. In 2019, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer appointed Darryl Brown to the board of Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, where he is currently serving a 3-year term. A poet and writer of mystical journeys, prophecy and life lessons, Darryl is now the subject of a new film series-in-progress.
