Jim Salame is a local artist, singer songwriter and entrepreneur. As part of the medical and recreational cannabis movement, Jim worked at the Om of Medicine cannabis dispensary for a decade on Main St in Ann Arbor. At Om, he also helped as a volunteer on the planning committee for the long running free speech event Hash Bash, which later would inspire Entheofest. As a member of the community that helped decriminalize plant medicines and fungi in Ann Arbor in 2020, he began working on The Entheo Show podcast and the first Entheofest in an effort to celebrate these substances, while activating and educating people on the efficacy and the lineage of plant medicines and fungi.
