When Anne was an Ann Arbor City Council member (2017-2020), she had the honor of being the lead sponsor on the unanimous 09/21/20 Resolution Decriminalizing Entheogenic Plants. Ann Arbor was the fourth city in the U.S. and first in Michigan to do so. Shortly thereafter, Washtenaw County Prosecutor Eli Savit introduced a policy directive that he does not plan to “prosecute the use or possession of entheogenic plants in any other part of the county.” Anne has stayed involved in the decriminalization movement and enjoys building bridges between people interested in restoring our root connection to nature, and improving human health and well being.
